MOROCCO
Travel in Morocco has come a long way since the days when Europeans needed to disguise themselves in jellabahs and veils. Morocco has welcomed tourism and hotel developments have spawned on the north coast, especially in Agadir. The southern valleys and mountains are a great escape for upmarket tourists, which are well – hidden and designed with luxury hotels. Long blond, blue skied beaches, fortified Portuguese fishing ports, lush oases in pink desert plains, mountains offering walking, climbing and winter skiing and Islamic architecture buildings and monuments are found at the extraordinary attractions of Morocco’s imperial cities – Rabat, Fez, Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier and Agadir.

The Tour
Take this tour to see the most important sights of Casablanca or "White House" in Arabic Dar El Beida, a name given due to the white houses facing the ocean at the Anfa district by the Spanish and Portuguese sailors who stopped there before the city was built. Today it is a modern city with boulevards and modern infrastructure. Stroll along Habbous district with its small squares and narrow arcade streets, a fine example of successful adaptation of modern town planning in style of a traditional Medina. You will see many shops displaying articles for sale to both locals and tourists. You will then have a photo stop at Mohamed V Square that links the old town to the new one. Drive along United Nations Square, designed by the French architect Joseph Marrast in 1920. Drive along the Skala, an 18th century fortification opposite the fishing port. Finally see Hassan II Mosque, built right on the sea (entrance fee not included). You will then be taken to a restaurant for a nice typical dinner, drinks not included, where there will also be some live music and a belly dancing show.
